Sidney Crosby Rubbed PK Subban’s Face In The Ice While Punching Him In The Head

Last night’s Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators was great if you are a Pens fan. For the rest of the sports world, it was a complete blowout (Penguins won 6-0) without very many standout highlights. The Pittsburgh Penguins are now just one win away from hoisting the Stanley Cup into the air once again but Nashville is going to bring more energy than we’ve seen all season on Sunday night in an effort to tie it up at 3-3 and send the series to a game 7.

Pittsburgh All-Star Sidney Crosby didn’t even score a goal last night in the 6-0 drubbing of Nashville but he somehow managed to emerge as the one guy making headlines. Just before the end of the 2nd period, Sidney Crosby got on top of Nashville’s All-Star P.K. Subban, one of the most beloved players in the NHL, and Crosby proceeded to shove Subban’s face in the ice and punch him in the head repeatedly. Both players got sent to the penalty box after the kerfuffle, which really meant they got to head to the locker room a few minutes early before the period ended.

I’m really not a Subban fan, I promise. I got into an argument last weekend with a Rangers fan (I’m a Lightning fan) about how I think Subban is a great human being but as a player, I fucking hate him because I think he plays extra dirty against the Lightning. So don’t think I’m defending Subban here, but Crosby came out of that brawl looking like a complete shithead. And to add insult to injury, Crosby later threw a bottle onto the ice in the middle of play like some fucking child.

For a player on the cusp of winning another Stanley Cup he’s definitely acting like a baby, and someone needs to tell him to tighten the hell up and start acting like a man.
