Skimboarder Uses Drone To Surf Waves In Hawaii — This Will Make You Forget How Ungodly Cold It Is Right Now

The vast majority of our great Nation is being blasted by an Arctic chill right now, with much of the country experiencing sub-freezing temperatures and many cities getting their first dose of Winter snow. With most of you bros getting pounded by Jack Frost I figured now would be a great time to share this skimboarding video from Hawaii to help take your minds off of the Arctic blast.

Above, we’ve got skimboarder David Sterman taking his craft to the next level by using the high-powered Acecore Technologies ‘NEO’ drone to pull him into waves, and not just any waves, some of the finest waves Hawaii has to offer.

I don’t fully understand why you would ever be so dedicated to skimboarding that you’d then choose to go surfing but still do it on your skimboard. Correct me if I’m wrong, but if surfing is what you want to be doing, which in this case it appears surfing is the sport of choice, then it would make more sense to just ride a surfboard, no? Whatever, it’s still awesome.
