‘South Park’ Came Up With A Hilarious Solution To The Colin Kaepernick Anthem Controversy

Leave it to South Park to have a it’s own very unique and funny spin on Colin Kaepernick and the whole national anthem situation.

We already saw in the teaser that it was going to be the usual South Park spectacle, but once it actually aired during the show’s 20th season premiere it was even better than expected.

First off, as you will see below, Colin Kaepernick’s protest has even spread to elementary schools in South Park. Naturally, Randy Marsh wants to bet on whether a child will stand or not, because he’s Randy effing Marsh.

Now as for the anthem itself, the government decides that the anthem needs to be “rebooted” so they enlist the help of, who else but J.J. Abrams since he did so well with Star Wars.

Which leads the the moment we’ve all been waiting for…

“And now, please rise — or take a knee, or sit, it really doesn’t matter — for the playing of our National Anthem.”

Way to go, J.J. Abrams. You are a true American hero.
