Rams’ Stedman Bailey Has Made A Remarkable Recovery After Being Shot In The Head Just Five Months Ago

Where were you on November 25th of last year? Chances are the answer would be with your family and/or friends getting ready to house some Thanksgiving turkey and do nothing but watch football. For L.A. Rams wideout Stedman Bailey, though, he was in the ICU after being shot in the head while in Miami.

Guess what Bailey’s doing now, though? He’s back to running routes on the football field after making one of the most miraculous recoveries that I’ve ever heard of, getting back to running routes just five months following a bullet going through his head.

After posting about the work he’s putting in to get back to playing again, Bailey’s next IG post was a video of ESPN’s NFL Live crew discussing the chances of him returning to the gridiron, with Bailey adding a caption that makes me think he’ll be out there at some point in 2016.

Athletes come back from injuries like torn ACLs, broken bones and other major/minor injuries, but Stedman Bailey’s journey back to the football field is absolutely mind-blowing given the fact he was near his death just a few months ago. Here’s to hoping he makes it all the way back.
