Whether you’re rooting for the Golden State Warriors to repeat as NBA champs again this season or not, every fucking basketball fan should want to see the team try and conquer the feat with the league’s MVP, Stephen Curry.
After slipping on a wet spot on the floor during yesterday’s game against the Houston Rockets, Curry limped off the floor and hobbled into the locker room, even crying at one point when he found out that he couldn’t return to action.
Fear not, Dubs fans, Curry gave an update following an MRI this morning and things look OK:
Thanks 4 all the prayers & messages. Can feel all the positive energy. God is Great! All things considered I’m Gonna be alright! #DubNation

Of course, this is just the player’s update and not team docs or anything, but I’d say we go ahead and trust Steph on this one and, hopefully, see him back out on the court for Game 5 against the Rockets—assuming the team even wants to play him with no real sense of urgency at this point.
As an update, according to Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski, Curry didn’t sustain any serious injury, but he could still miss two weeks.
Vertical Sources: Steph Curry's MRI on knee has returned negative, no damage, a Grade 1 sprain. Could miss two weeks.

Look, if the kid can shoot the rock at 85 percent, he’s still better than everyone else at 100 percent.
