Strange UFC Knock Out Ends With Dude’s Head Thudding Against The Mat

Nothing gets a Monday going in the right direction quite like a good ol’ fashioned UFC knockout, whether legal or illegal.  Today’s match ender occurred at UFC Glasgow this weekend and featured the flashy Galore Bofando (5-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Conor McGregor teammate Charlie Ward (3-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC).

Bofando, whose only two career losses came via disqualification due to illegal strikes, finished Charlie by whipping him into the mat head first, knocking his opponent out for a split second and ultimately ending the match. The thudding sound of Ward’s head hitting the mat is a sound that you don’t hear too often in the octagon.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
