The Rock Electrifies Crowd With Surprise Appearance At WWE Live Event In Boston

I don’t know if you are aware, but Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is kind of a big deal. He’s the lead in HBO’s sports Entourage-esque Ballers and is quickly becoming a Hollywood star, with the success of San Andreas, which made nearly $300 million. Plus he is cast in a ton of huge projects in the next few years including the movie adaptation of the classic 80’s video game Rampage, two sequels in the Journey to the Center of the Earth, Central Intelligence with Kevin Hart and Aaron Paul, the lead role as the voice of demigod Maui in Disney’s animated movie Moana, the next Furious film, the villain role of Black Adam in the DC superhero movie Shazam!, and star in the remake of John Carpenter’s 1986 cult classic Big Trouble in Little China. So the extremely busy Johnson did not really have to return to the WWE on Saturday night or ever, but he did because he’s a respectable human being who doesn’t forget how he got to the top.

Despite his hectic schedule and his fancy-pants Hollywood career, The Rock returned to his wrestling roots with a surprise appearance at WWE’s live event in Boston on Saturday night.

He shared the selfie video on his Instagram with the caption:

No greater feeling than completely surprising my #WWE Universe family by showing up unannounced at a live event. #ElectrifyingMoment #CrowdGoesWild #AndByWildIMeanApeShit #PeopleGoHomeHappy #PeoplesChampGoesHomeGrateful #BostonStrong #PC4Life

Bo Dallas never had a chance. Boston strong, bitch indeed!
