Tiger Woods is making headlines today for other reasons, but this wonderful story deserves all the Internet’s attention. According to Ron Sirak at Golf Digest, Tiger recently sent an emotional letter to a teenager named Dillion, a golf-loving 12-year-old who idolizes Tiger Woods and is bullied at school because of his stutter. Tiger and his people read Sirak’s original story and decided to respond with the letter above.
It hits right in the feels:
I know what it’s like to be different and to sometimes not fit in. I also stuttered as a child and I would talk to my dog and he would sit there and listen until he fell asleep. I also took a class for two years to help me, and I finally learned to stop…I think it even inspired me to work harder. I know you can do it too.
Such a Bro move by Tiger. And I think I speak for everyone in the Brommunity when I say that we’re all rooting for you, Dillion.
