Travis Snider probably hates instant replay in baseball. Because of its implementation, everyone was afforded the opportunity to watch him take a baseball to the face in embarrassing fashion over and over.
The Pittsburgh Pirates right fielder’s sliding attempt on a ball sliced off the bat Cincinnati’s Todd Frazier went terribly awry, resulting in an immediate toothache. Initially ruled a foul ball, the play was overturned after a review and Frazier was awarded a double.

The good news for Snider is that his play doesn’t even come close to approaching the depths of this lowlight turned in by Jose Canseco many years ago.
It is very tough to top, er, bottom that particular bit of ineptitude.
