Bro Completes American ‘Triple Crown Of Hiking’ — 7,700 Miles In 9 Months Like A Total Badass

Most people who are passionate about the Outdoors and Hiking are happy to complete ONE of the three iconic trails across America: the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, and the Continental Divide Trail. In order to successfully hike each of these trails an extreme amount of training is required, and hiking any one of these trails can take half a year.

Not too long ago I blogged about this bro who hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in six months, a truly impressive feat. More often than not, when I blog about the Appalachian Trail it’s because some bro underwent an EXTREME body transformation and lost a shit ton of weight while hiking the trail. Also, just for reference, the record for hiking the Appalachian Trail is 46 days and the bro who set that record was listening to Phish the entire time while eating cheeseburgers.

But enough about other people hiking those trails, in the video above we see Jeff Garmire and it documents his February to October feat of hiking the ‘Calendar Triple Crown’, an absolutely unfathomable accomplishment. Last month, Jeff Garmire finished the final leg of the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, and Continental Divide Trail, a journey that saw him hiking an estimated 7,700 miles in just NINE MONTHS. This is some real-life Forrest Gump shit right here.

By the way, if you are having trouble viewing the YouTube video above for any reason you can also watch it on Vimeo (where it’s slightly more HD):

Just a truly unbelievable feat accomplished by Jeff Garmire, something that will go down in history as one of the greatest hiking years ever recorded.
