Tom Brady’s Reinstated Suspension Is Turning Twitter Into Utter Chaos

No matter what side of the fence you’re on, after a 15-month convoluted saga about air pressure in footballs, at this point it’s nearly impossible to view Deflategate as anything other than a pestering herpe sore. No one wants it, but we’re all reminded of it monthly.

Brady will likely serve the four-game suspension reinstated today by an appeals court–barring he sues for defamation or the case reaches the Supreme Court–which may not be worst case scenario for a 39-year-old quarterback with a serviceable backup in Jimmy Goropollo (11 games, 20-31, TD).

Regardless, Twitter is on fire with reactions to the ruling, from New Englanders who are downright distraught to trolls who relish in their misery to people who just want it all to end. Check out some of the best below.

This joke is far from over. We’ll see who gets the last laugh in January when the best quarterback alive is well-rested in the playoffs 🙂

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
