If nothing else, the Olympics provide a perfect opportunity for Americans to go America all over everyone’s assess for two weeks. While such displays could be considered obnoxious during non-Olympic years, they’re embraced with open arms from Sochi to Sacramento while the torch is burning.
Wesley Fry, brother of U.S. women’s hockey team player Lyndsey, donned this tremendous getup for today’s game against Canada. Decked in red, white and blue from head to toe, Fry inspired deep patriotism in any American with eyes.
Sadly, his magnificent display of pride wasn’t enough to overcome a late scoring push by the Canadian women, who skated away with a 3-2 victory.
