There are multiple reports of a blimp catching fire and crashing at the U.S. Open at Erin Hills. the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that one witness saw a pilot parachuting to the ground as the blimp went down.
Update: According to the USGA the blimp was not affiliated with the U.S. Open.
