This hasn’t exactly been the smoothest week for the USC football team, what with the whole Josh Shaw situation becoming a national embarrassment. The Trojans doubled down on the insanity this afternoon as coach Steve Sarkisian announced senior running back Anthony Brown has quit the team.
Brown seemed to explain his decision with this Instagram post containing allegations of racism against Sarkisian.
Sark said was “shocked” that Anthony Brown accused him of being a racist. He wanted Brown on the team and felt he could help.

Yup. That’s a full week.
All of this should really help USC get in tip-top shape for its opening game against Fresno State on Saturday.
