After more than two years, video of Oklahoma star running back Joe Mixon punching a woman at a bar, which led to him being suspended for the 2014 season, has been released.
In the video, Mixon could be seen punching Oklahoma student Amelia Molitor during a dispute at local bar Pickleman’s Cafe.
As part of Mixon’s plea deal the video was supposed to be destroyed but last week Oklahoma’s supreme court ruled that the surveillance video of Mixon’s punch would be made public after The Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters had sued Norman, its police department, and the Cleveland County district attorney to secure the video’s release.
Mixon is currently eligible to enter the 2017 NFL draft but could also choose to stay in college.
