New England Patriots defensive lineman Vince Wilfork had a hell of a productive Sunday. After helping his defense lock down the Indianapolis Colts and earn a Super Bowl berth, the big man played hero to an imperiled woman on the roadways.

Wilfork used just one hand to lift the driver out of this overturned vehicle. He was assisting before police arrived. pic.twitter.com/50eyZU3EPe

The driver Wilfork rescued is Mary Ellen Brooks from Mass. She was arrested and charged with operating under the influence police say.

One hand? That’s some Andre the Giant stuff right there. Of course, Rob Gronkowski likely would have picked up the entire vehicle and spiked it.
It’s unclear if the woman is a Patriots fan. If so, what a terrible way to meet one of your heroes — on your way to a drunk driving charge.
