Names Being Tossed Around As Possible WWE Hall Of Fame Inductees Are…Well Thank God For Sting, Right?

The WWE has been mum so far about the possible wrestlers being inducted into the Hall Of Fame in 2016. They’ve confirmed Sting and haven’t denied JBL.

The Fabulous Freebirds, a group synonymous with Texas wrestling, are rumored inductees but it’s unknown if the WWE wants the two main headliners of the Hall of Fame ceremony to be non-WWE creations.

News hit today says one inductee won’t be Owen Hart, but even more than that, Owen’s brother possibly confirmed who is going into the Hall of Fame. On his Facebook page, Smith Hart once again explained the hold up is Owen’s widow Martha, the Yoko to the Hart Foundation’s Beatles.

A Hart Foundation induction on its own would not fill the stadium, but I’m sure would help more than the proposed inductions of The Godfather, Jacqueline or JBL (with all due respect). The reason given for the lack of an Owen induction is still our former Sister in law, Martha who still holds a grudge as if the tragedy happened days ago. Personally, I wouldn’t blame Bret or anyone in my family if they boycotted this year’s show.

Now he might just be tossing out rumors as truths but…yeesh…no disrespect to The Godfather but when I daydream wrestling legends the grappling pimp isn’t usually the first to front of the pack. The Hall of Fame is quickly becoming the “people who got paychecks from the WWE for the longest period of time” and “guys who currently need money.”

Those are usually the same people.
