Kings’ Forward Zach Randolph Arrested For Weed And Felony Intent To Sell, Inciting A Riot In L.A.

Zack Randolph’s tenure in Sacramento is off to a high start. The 36-year-old was arrested in L.A. on Wednesday night for possession of marijuana with intent to sell, a felony.

LAPD officers were called to the Nickerson Gardens area in L.A. around 10 PM when they came across a group blocking the street, drinking alcohol, smoking weed and playing loud music, TMZ reports. After the cops tried to disperse the crowd, things got LIT.

Police reports indicate that 3 people were seen grabbing their waistbands and running, prompting cops to run after them. The three people were eventually caught, and arrested, while the remainder of the party became unruly.

TMZ reports that “6 cop cars were vandalized — tires slashed and windows busted — and cops formed a battle line to restore order.”

When it was all said and done, cops recovered 2 guns, drugs, a significant amount of cash and 2 vehicles were impounded. It’s unclear if any of the items belonged to Randolph.

Randolph’s bail was set at $20,000, an easy sum for someone who just signed a 2-year, $24 million contract with the Kings this offseason.

We’ll keep you posted as this story unravels.

P.S Fatality.
