Charlize Theron has been in just three films since 2009 so her return to movies with A Million Ways to Die in the West makes her the perfect choice for this week’s “Throwback Thursday.” As you will see from the pictures that follow, Charlize is one of those rare beauties that just seems to get better looking with age.

Back in the late 1990s Charlize Theron got every man’s attention with her roles in the films The Devil’s Advocate, Mighty Joe Young, and The Astronaut’s Wife, but it was the role where she wasn’t very pretty in the 2003 film Monster that gained her worldwide acclaim after taking home the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Since then we’ve enjoyed seeing her in films like Aeon Flux, Hancock, and The Burning Plain, but we haven’t been able to see nearly enough of her because Charlize only appeared in 10 films between 2003 and 2011.

Then, with two very popular films, Snow White and the Huntsman and Prometheus in 2012, she seemed to be back full-time, but sadly, Theron didn’t make a single film in 2013. Now, however, with A Million Ways to Die in the West and the upcoming films Dark Places and Mad Max: Fury Road we’re finally guaranteed to get our Charlize fix at least through sometime in 2015.
