It’s been 16 years since the BBC released The Blue Planet, a mini-series which went underwater to show how alive our vibrant seas are across the globe. Just like Planet Earth did later, that mini-series set a new benchmark for how much of an impact a nature docu-series can have. The stunning images of life below the sea are a reminder that our planet is worth saving.
Now, Sir David Attenborough is back to narrate Blue Planet II: The Prequel and he’s released a trailer with BBC Earth featuring an exclusive track by Hans Zimmer and Radiohead. This trailer for Blue Planet II: The Prequel features some of the most stunning nature footage I’ve ever laid eyes upon.

Technology in 2017 is incomparably and infinitely better to what they had while filming the 2001 series which took 5 years to produce. This is set to be the most visually moving nature mini-series ever produced. And you know it’s going to live up to the hype because the BBC has Sir David Attenborough producing it.
