Buffalo Bill’s Home From ‘Silence Of The Lambs’ Has Hit The Market And It’s Just As Creepy As You’d Expect

Silence Of The Lambs

Are you in the market for a cozy starter home? Do you also have the insatiable urge to die a premature death at the hands of a sociopathic maniac?

Well, my friend, I may have found the perfect little abode for you and yours.

The biggest downside being you’ll have to move to Pennsylvania. Yikes.

Buffalo Bill’s home from Silence of the Lambs has hit the for a reasonable price of $298,500.

The four-bedroom, one bathroom Queen Anne Victorian was built over a century ago and rests on 1.76 acres in Perryopolis.

While the cozy home does not feature a giant pit and a lotion basket, it has a cold cellar section which did appear in the film and that the real estate agents admit is a bit “creepy.”

According to Yahoo, after the home failed to sell in 2016, the owners dropped the price to $250,000 and animal rights group PETA offered to buy it and turn it into a ‘empathy museum’, where people could wear the skins of abused animals.

The sale was never made, and four years later, agents are still looking for someone masochistic enough to buy it.

If I had a bit more disposable income and more risk tolerance, I would buy this up and just AirBnb it to people looking for the novelty factor. I could probably rent this out for $700 a night around Halloween time. Which in just two nights, would pay off the estimated monthly payments of $1,425, according to Zillow.

Then I could make money off it without ever having to step foot in it.
