Last month, in the lead up to the premiere of season 8 of Game of Thrones, one of the show’s stars Emilia Clarke addressed how she feels about the reactions to her nude scenes and sex scenes on the show.
“People ask me the nudity question all the time. But the short answer is no, I would never change anything,” Clarke explained in an interview with The Sun.
This week, in the afterglow of the epic Battle of Winterfell, Clarke told Jimmy Kimmel that Game of Thrones’ fifth episode is going to somehow be “even bigger.”
Clarke also revealed during her appearace on Jimmy Kimmel Live something that must, at times, be truly horrifying: her brother is a cameraman on the show. As in, he was on set the day Danaerys and Jon Snow did it.
“He’s in the camera department, which is brilliant,” Clarke explained to Kimmel. “It’s amazing. He was doing the nights.”
“Was he there like during the love scene that you had with Jon Snow?” asked Jimmy.
“Yes, and there was some days where he was like ‘Oh, I’ll swing by’, because he’s in the next unit that’s filming next door and I’ll go, ‘No it’s good. I’m good, you can stay there,'” she replied with a big laugh. “He’s like, ‘I just want to say hi, I haven’t seen you in ages’, and I’m like, ‘No!'”
Jimmy then asked who would be more embarrassed in that situation. “Definitely him,” Clarke replied.
