Frances Bean Cobain Reportedly Makes Over $100,000 A MONTH From Kurt Cobain’s Estate

It’s good to be Frances Bean Cobain. Very, very, very good. Court documents state that the 24-year-old daughter of Kurt Cobain reportedly earns over $100,000 a month from her rocker father’s estate. The income of Frances Bean, the daughter of the Nirvana frontman and Hole singer Courtney Love, was revealed during divorce proceedings.

Court documents from the divorce proceedings of her estranged husband Isaiah Silva obtained by The Blast state Frances Bean earns $95,496 a month for her Kurt’s publicity rights and $6,784 in dividends between July 2016 and June 2017.

The documents also state that the money is burning a hole in her pocket and Frances Bean spends $206,000 per month in expenses. Frances Bean disputed the lavish spending and tweeted, “I’m sorry, but who has the time to spend $200k a month? That’s fucking absurd. None of the information that has been reported is accurate.” The tweet was later deleted. Frances Bean’s legal team argues that Silva should not be entitled to any money from her father’s estate. Frances Bean is said to have a net worth of $11.3 million.

During her divorce hearings, Cobain filed a lawsuit for Silva to return the acoustic guitar that Kurt Cobain used during Nirvana’s legendary MTV Unplugged set at Sony Music Studios in New York City on November 18, 1993. Silva alleged he had received as a wedding present from when they got married in 2014. Frances Bean Cobain filed for divorce less than two years later.

Earlier this year, Frances Bean said she “doesn’t fucking care what they (Nirvana) did in the ’90s.” She added, “I wasn’t around and it’s not relevant to me. Yes the ’90s were influential, for sure, but it’s just not my cup of tea. When it’s shoved down your throat every day for 24 years, you just stop caring.”

This is not a particularly entertaining story if you’re eating ramen in cold water because your electric got cut off a week ago.
