Do It For The Gram: Influencer Travel Couple Dangles Over Bali Infinity Pool For ‘Dangerous’ Instagram Photo

Do it for the gram. That’s the motto of this travel couple. And they don’t care if they put themselves in dangerous situations just as long as they get that one picturesque photo that will get thousands of Likes on Instagram.

Meet Kelly Castille and Kody Workman, the influencer couple whose Instagram account @positravelty has over 82,000 followers. The 33-year-old Kelly is from Lousiana and the 32-year-old Kody is from Michigan. They met a year and a half ago while traveling, of course.

They have been traveling the world together ever since they met and started up their joint Instagram account in May of 2018. The Instagram couple have gotten a decent following by posting photos of their travels to exotic places around the world. Some of the beautiful locales that they have visited are Kuala Lumpur, Germany, Austria, Zanzibar, Thailand, Koh Nang Yuan, Cape Town, and Bali.

They even do the classic travel couple photo pose of the girl dragging her man around the world. Very on-brand.

The influencer couple isn’t afraid to push the boundaries of their Instagram photos by posing on the edge of anything for a great shot.

Kelly and Kody were in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia, and took one photo that the internet obsessed about for better or worse. The Instagram couple’s latest daring photo has people calling the shot “dangerous,” “stupid” and “moronic.”

Kody is dangling Kelly over the edge of an infinity pool at the Kayon Jungle Resort in Bali as they kiss. It is their most popular Instagram photo and was Liked nearly 26,000 times.

Soon after posting the daring photo, their photo was flooded with people telling them they are dumb for attempting the risky photo and putting Kelly’s life in danger. The couple has defended their actions.

“As for safety, we are all responsible for ourselves at the end of the day,” the couple said. “The reality is that we felt safe, stable and confident for two reasons. First and foremost, there is another pool below that we cropped out of the shot for dramatization. Secondly, we thought about this photo for days, considering the angles and potentials.”

“We are travelers, adventurers and above all, creatives. Life is about perspectives and it is important to review them all,” the travel influencers said. “As for the backlash… we know we were safe. A fall would have been nothing more than a nice splash and sprint up the stairs to try it again.” This couple will continue to do it for the gram.
