Jeannette Reyes was reporting on an event in Arkansas for ABC affiliate KATV when a young man broke in with a smooch on the cheek. Naturally, her photographer chased him down and made him apologize.
Reyes says on the YouTube upload:
“My photographer chased after him and made him apologize. I guess it made for good television!”
Being a reporter doesn’t make you public property, I’m philosophically aligned there. But did she really need to respond to the kiss like she just got back from reporting on a war? Some drunk kid kissed you on the cheek. He was probably sweaty. It’s not that deep, Jeannette.
