The Bromance Continues As Rick Astley Covers Foo Fighters Classic ‘Everlong’ At Manchester Concert

Last month, the celebrated Rick Astley joined Foo Fighters at Japan’s Summer Sonic Festival and Rickrolled the crowd by singing “Never Gonna Give You Up” with the distinguished Mr. Dave Grohl. Rick Astley paid tribute to his new Foo Fighters friendship by singing the rock band’s signature song “Everlong,” arguably the greatest Foo Fighters song of all-time.

During Astley’s set at the We Are Manchester benefit concert, the 80s legend sang the Foo Fighters classic at the newly re-opened Manchester Arena, which had been closed following the terror attack during the Ariana Grande on May 22, 2017. Foo Fighters and Astley have a history dating back to August of 2015 when the band Rickrolled the Westboro Baptist Church.

It’s a valiant effort by Rick, now let the professionals give “Everlong” a try.
