Did you know that 10 years ago today, Bryan Cranston appeared on AMC as the lovable yet completely complex high school chemistry teacher turned meth dealer Walter White. After 62 episodes and five seasons, Breaking Bad ended as one of the greatest drama television shows of all-time and was one of the first shows of the “Third Golden Age of Television.” On Saturday, Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul shared heartfelt messages on the 10th anniversary of the hit TV show.
Aaron Paul AKA Jesse Pinkman commemorated the anniversary of the show that put him on the map with a tweet. On Twitter, Paul posted a tribute and thanked Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan: “10 years ago today Mr. White and Jesse Pinkman decided to start cooking crystal meth. Thank you Vince for coming up with this crazy concept. Here’s a quick video of our journeys. Happy 10th anniversary #BreakingBad.”

Fellow Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston tacked onto Paul’s tweet and added his own tribute to the show by stealing a popular Jesse Pinkman-ism. The tweet was captioned: “Yo Bitch! I stole your line, Aaron. But you can ‘Say my name!’ Just thinking about the 6 magical years on BB with our great cast and crew. I miss you all, even those Heisenberg had to kill. Vince, you’re a genius and a wonderful human being. Thank you for the ride of our lives!”

Speaking of Walter White, Cranston revealed the most difficult scene he ever filmed on Breaking Bad. Cranston gave an interview with PEOPLE magazine on the anniversary of everyone’s favorite meth show where he revealed the most emotional scene that he filmed during Breaking Bad. *SPOILERS AHEAD* “Walt watches Jane die was probably the most difficult scene for me to shoot, emotionally,” Cranston said of watching Jesse’s girlfriend Jane Margolis die from an overdose, played by Krysten Ritter. “Because, temporarily, I saw the image of my own daughter in her face rise to the surface, take the place of Krysten Ritter, and then just as quickly disappear. But it was just instantaneous, that millisecond was all that it took for me to catch myself. Because again, I thought one of the reasons to save this person was because she’s a young woman, she could be my daughter.”
