So… ‘Breaking Bad’ And ‘Pulp Fiction’ Had A LOT In Common

Though very different, Breaking Bad and Pulp Fiction both have very similar motifs — drugs, violence, and how the relentless pursuit of greed and power really can make someone evil. But you probably didn’t realize that Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan was VERY heavily influenced by Quentin Tarantino with his staging and camera angles throughout the course of the entire show.

Film buff Jorge Luengo Ruiz threw together a remarkable supercut showing just how heavily Breaking Bad borrowed from Pulp Fiction. It’s eye-opening how much one of the best TV series of all time borrowed from one of the best movies of all time.

That’s no accident.
