You know what’s freaking idiotic? The MPAA. Their bizarre insistence in giving forthcoming documentary Bully an R rating has pissed off film fans all over the country. This movie needs to be seen by kids, and if it’s R (for cuss words), they’re not going to be able to. Well, the Weinstein Company has decided to just flip the MPAA the double bird and release the movie unrated to theaters on March 30th. In other times, releasing an unrated movie was the kiss of death, as many theaters won’t screen them, but who knows? Maybe 2012 will be different. Maybe we’re all cool now.
