Lena Dunham Talking About Allison Williams’ Aggressive Sex Scene On ‘Girls’ Is Actually Worth Listening To
I know I’m preaching to the choir here when I say that listening to Lena Dunham speak is as alluring as listening to our parents have sex. She has feigned faux moral superiority time and time again while consistently proving that she herself needs a privilege check. Her telling me that cafeteria sushi is cultural appropriation is like Chris Brown preaching to me about being a gentleman.
But I’m a man who gives credit where credit’s due, and I’ll admit I was all ears when listening to her talk to Howard Stern about Allison Williams (the most attractive character on HBO’s Girls) getting her salad tossed in a particularly explicit scene that you can watch on YouTube HERE before returning to this post.
The juice of the audio is transcribed below, via Uproxx:
“Here’s what I’ll say,” Dunham told Stern. “Allison was amazing about it, but what I wrote is that she was getting eaten out from behind… and then, once we were on set, Ebon [Moss-Bachrach, who plays Marnie’s boyfriend-turned-husband-turned-weird ex-husband Desi] made a strong actorly choice to eat her butt instead and motorboat it. We just couldn’t believe it was real.”
This is the very worst time to drop this Brian Williams meme:
Moving on, indulge in a few of these particularly attractive Allison Williams photographs.
One more. I am particularly proud of this one. For my whole life until 2 years ago, I was super self-conscious about my stomach. I dreaded bikini season. I kept it covered. Boyfriends weren't allowed to touch it. No amount of crunches seemed to strengthen it. Then I met @ilariacavagna who introduced me to the magic and focus of Pilates. I have never felt stronger, healthier, more focused, or more feminine. Now, I love my stomach because it keeps me grounded to my core. And it's still the same stomach! Here's to proving yourself wrong. #harperbyharpersbazaar
When one of your besties starts a clothing company, it's exciting. When she tells you she wants your dog in the photo shoot, it's ecstatic. Congrats to @mollyihoward and the ladies of @lalignenyc on their launch today. They are all truly chic, and now we can pretend that we're chic too by wearing La Ligne. I'm so proud!! #ImWithLaBande
