Migos Got Kicked Off Delta Flight And Accused Airline Of Racial Profiling (VIDEO)
Migos were kicked off a Delta Airlines flight on Friday, only hours before they were set to perform at a show. The rap trio were sitting in first class on a flight from Atlanta, Georgia, to Des Moines, Iowa, where their concert was. The plane was on the runway, but then returned to the gate to escort Quavo, Offset, and ironically enough Takeoff off of the flight. The group’s manager, who was also taken off the plane, accused the airline of racial profiling.
The members of Migos were napping as the plane was getting ready to take flight. The group’s manager alleges that Takeoff’s book bag was on the floor next to his leg, and not in the overhead compartment. Because he was asleep, he didn’t hear the flight attendant ask him to stow the bag properly. It is unclear if all three rappers were kicked off, or if only Takeoff was kicked off the plane just before takeoff. Their manager is claiming that their removal from the plane was an act of racial profiling. In the video, you can hear the manager threatening Delta with a lawsuit for their expulsion from the plane.
“Delta flight 1532 from Atlanta to Des Moines returned to the gate, prior to departure, to deplane several customers seated in the First Class cabin who repeatedly refused to follow crew member instructions to buckle their seatbelts and stow carry-on items in the overhead bins,” Delta said in its statement.
Migos did make it to their concert, but they were late.
