VIDEO: Tyreke Evans Caught Reckless Driving at 130 M.P.H. on I-80 in California
On Memorial Day, Sacramento King and former Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans was pulled over for speeding and reckless driving on I-80 in Northern California. How fast was he going? Somewhere between 120 and 130 miles per hour. Apparently Evans was racing his purple Mercedes against a friend in a silver sportscar, and a California Highway Patrol airplane caught the whole thing on tape, including his eventual arrest at gunpoint by a CHIP outside of a school. Evans plead no contest to reckless driving, and was “sentenced to 80 hours of community service, ordered to take part in teen driving programs, and lost his license for 30 days.”
Watch the incredible 13-minute video, which is sort of after the jump...
