We Interviewed A Bunch Of Girls Who Have Never Seen The Original ‘Star Wars’, And Wow, Just Wow
If you’re an American human, you’ve probably seen the 1977 cinematic touchstone known as “Star Wars”. But even if you’ve somehow managed not to see it because you’re Amish or something, you’re probably at least vaguely familiar with most of the characters and the general world that makes up the Star Wars universe, simply as a result of being an alive person growing up in this country who is aware of his/her surroundings.
Since the Force finally awakens this Friday, we decided it was the perfect opportunity to test exactly how much people who had never seen the original Star Wars knew about the movie. Was it possible to grow up in this country and not know what a Jedi is? Or who did the voice for Darth Vader? Or what a vulcan is? That was a test… vulcans are from Star Trek. Good job.
Check out the video for yourself to see how they did, and as they say in Star Wars, “roads… where we’re going, we don’t need roads.” That was another test. You’re a pro. Enjoy!
