Eddie Vedder Joined Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters For A Badass Rendition Of ‘Comfortably Numb’

by 11 months ago

Pearl Jam’s frontman Eddie Vedder joined Pink Floyd’s frontman Roger Waters during the second night of his 3-night run at Chicago’s United Center. Eddie Vedder took the stage with Roger for a badass rendition of ‘Comfortably Numb’ and ‘Us + Them’, two of Pink Floyd’s most iconic songs.

When you get two legends together on the stage, things usually go pretty well, but it’s never a sure thing. The risk is that one of the titans of rock will out shadow the other and try to take over the song, but this special guest appearance morphed into something incredibly special for fans of both bands.

This is actually the second time these two legends of rock and roll have shared the same stage. The first time was back on 12/12/12/ for a benefit concert to raise funds for victims of the devastating Hurricane Sandy. (h/t Variety)
