Looking Back at Rock Photographer Jim Marshall’s Greatest Photographs
Jim Marshall, one of the most famous rock photographers of all time, died today at the age of 74. Along with Johnny Cash, above, Marshall shot just about every major artist and band of the 1960s and 1970s (and beyond), including the Stones, the Beatles, the Dead, Ray Charles, Janis Joplin, and the all-time famous shots of Jimi Hendrix setting fire to his guitar and Bob Dylan rolling a tire on a street. Check out a gallery of some of those shots after the jump.
