15 ‘Things We Want’ This Week: Golf Clubs And Grips, Knives, Patriotic Shirts, And More!
In this week’s ‘Things We Want’ gear guide for bros we’ve got all sorts of awesome goodies, including but not limited to: million dollar California mansions, everyday carry survival kits, handmade shoes, grilling tools, knives and more. As I try to do each week, this edition of the ‘Things We Want — A Gear Guide For Bros’ covers the entire spectrum of gear for bros who like to get out into the world, get their boots a little dirty, and see what’s happening down by the water.
Also, if you know of a product that you think should be featured in my weekly Gear Guide then feel free to hit me up via email at Cass @ Brobible dot com. And for those of you looking to have us test out products to be featured here you can contact me via that email for our mailing address.
There’s no quicker way to rejuvenate the clubs in your bag then to slap on some new grips, something that most golfers are pretty careless and lazy about doing. That’s why I’m suggesting not one but TWO different golf grips today, first up is the MCC PLUS 4 from Golf Pride (the other one is the next time on this list).
— Golfers should regrip their clubs after every 40 rounds or once per year.
— Golf Pride estimates that golfers can shave 3-4 strokes off of their scorecard just by keeping their grips fresh.
— For the cost of about 2 dozen Pro Vs, old clubs can feel like new again.
The quickest way to gain strokes on the putting green is to find a putter that agrees with you, that’s why I REALLY implore you bros to check out the Tour SNSR from Golf Pride! If you’re even on the fence about needing a new putter grip just follow that link below to learn more!
Nothing says ‘FREEDOM’ like the American flag, and you’re not going to find a finer shirt than ‘The Hunter’s Shirt’ from Ball and Buck. If you’re an avid reader of my weekly ‘Things We Want’ feature here on BroBible then you’re probably familiar with Ball and Buck by now, because I’m a huge fan of their 100% American-made products.
I don’t need to sell you bros on the design of this shirt, because HOLY SHIT just look at how glorious it is. In terms of quality and manufacturing I just want to impress upon you bros that this company is ran by a bro from Atlanta who lives to hunt, fish, and eat…just like yourself. So when you support Ball and Buck you’re supporting a company with the same ideals as yourself.
So I’ve been holding off on sharing this knife with you bros for a few weeks because I wanted to familiarize myself with it better before I suggested that you pick one up yourself. First up, this is a knife that would make John Rambo himself blush. The sheer size of this blade is perhaps the most impressive thing about it, this is a knife that has the size and weight to accomplish virtually every task you’d ever need it for. Not to mention that it’s also ridiculously sharp and comes with an extremely sturdy sheath. I’m actually planning on featuring this knife again next week in a round up of tactical gear and knifes, but I wanted to share this one with you bros today because I simply couldn’t sit on this exquisite blade any longer without telling the world how amazing it is.
— Exceptionally rugged multifunctional edged tool
— 7” plain edge drop point blade
— Removable textured handle scales
— .25” thick SCM 435 stainless steel, hardened to HRC 58-60
— 13” Overall length, including extended tang
— Designed by Justin Gingrich/Gingrich Tactical Innovations
— Custom MOLLE-compatible ambidextrous sheath included
— .25” lanyard hole
Now if you bros are looking for something a little smaller, perhaps and everyday carry knife with a folding blade then I might suggest these two items: Tactical Scout Tanto Folder Knife and/or 5.11 Tactical SZ-511 Folding Knife.
However, if you’re ready to take the plunge and buy this BADASS Camp/Field Knife from 5.11 then follow that link below!
My colleague Chris Illuminati covered this amazing spatula earlier in the week so I’ll just use his words here instead of mine, because he’s a billion times more eloquent than I’ll ever be:
Hand fabricated by one of the oldest and most-respected cutlery manufacturers in the United States using energy harvested from Massachusetts’ Deerfield River, the Star Spangled Spatula pays homage to the USA’s stars and stripes, as well as our country’s love affair with outdoor grilling.
Crafted of solid walnut and stainless steel, the spatula’s use of quality materials, along with its patriotic vernacular, make it a pop design classic. It is perfect for any backyard barbecue and will last a lifetime.
Bros! Summer’s practically on our door step and as I mentioned with the club grips above NOW IS THE TIME to get your golf game in order. Maybe that means it’s time for you to load up on a new driver, and if that’s the case then there’s simply not a better driver on the market than the Callaway XR 16 driver. You’re going to hit the ball farther and straighter than ever before with the latest and greatest driver from Callaway.
— Forgiveness Meets Fast
Callaway worked with the aerodynamics experts at Boeing to give dad a strong and faster speed than ever.
— Extreme Forgiveness
Not all dads are created equal, and some need more help from their driver. With a larger shape for the moment of impact, every dad from the driving range to the PGA tour can increase their swing distance.
Also, not to be lost in the shuffle here is a promotion that Callaway Golf is running until the end of June. You can personalize a set their Chrome Soft golf balls ($39.99/dozen with the customization), so you might want to consider this as the PERFECT GIFT for Father’s Day…You can add any message on there, something like ‘Dad, You Suck At Golf’ and really let him know who’s boss, or you could add a nice message…whatever you want.
Alright bros, if you’re interested in getting a new driver and/or want to learn more about Callaway’s XR 16 then FOLLOW THAT LINK BELOW!
