The Canadian distiller just released a limited run of their Alberta® Premium Cask Strength Rye. The 2020 release of the Premium Cask Strength received multiple awards at the 2020 and 2021 San Francisco World Spirits and the 2021 SIP Awards.
The rye is 63-67% proof and tastes smooth with flavors of caramel, vanilla, and a tinge of chocolate. It’s then balanced out with the spiciness of rye and black current. It’s best served neat on the rocks.
