There are multiple sleep studies, professional testimonies, and stories suggesting the benefits of ditching your phone for a real alarm clock in the morning. I’ve been talking about doing it for at least a couple years but my lazy ass hasn’t pulled the trigger on making it happen.
First things first – I love that this alarm clock can charge my phone, show me the temperature and humidity, plus has moon phases and date info in addition to simple time tracking. I think the slick, simple black design looks good and really makes the screen’s colors pop. I mean, I’m not saying this alarm clock is going to be the highlight of my bedroom but for a simple and functional accessory, it looks cool.
More importantly, it’s an atomic clock. So, this clock connects to the WWVB time signal station, which means it’s always on time thanks to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) operated station in Fort Collins, CO.
