A long-sleeve plaid shirt or sweater underneath a lightweight jacket might be one of the most comfortable combinations in a man’s wardrobe. Since we’re into Fall 2019 now I thought I’d throw some of my favorite lightweight jackets on your radar that way you bros can get with the best out there.
These are lightweight jackets you can wear every day, when you’re hiking, to and fron the gym, on the way to the bar, tailgating, and everywhere else in life because their extremely versatile in nature (and stylish).
First up is the Proof Reversible Shirt Jacket in Dark Olive which was designed for a fast-paced urban lifestyle. The water-resistant shell and lightweight insulation ensure you’ll stay dry, comfortable, and have a full range of movement.
This Howler Brothers Lightning Quilted Jacket seen below on the top right (and above in the top middle) is an exclusive colorway that you can only get on Huckberry. The 60 gram PrimaLoft filling provides excellent insulation and warmth retention so you’re always comfortable. The classic button-down look is one I’ve always loved and it really comes to life with this jacket from Howler Bros.
Above, on the bottom left we’ve got the Reigning Champ Light Jacket comes in a bottom/top blended Birch + Performance Black colorway that’s super clean. This was designed to be an ideal pullover running jacket that’s lightweight and easily packable for trips but it’s easily worn in every day situations.
The Flint and Tinder Harrington Jacket in Navy features an interior British Millerain-branded pocket for stashing your valuables and the exterior of the jacket is crafted from a supremely high quality British Millerain staywax cotton that’s been produced by the same British Millerain for over 100 years. This jacket is Made in the USA, however, despite using plenty of British materials.
We finish it off today with these two badass jackets:
The Relwen Quilted Tanker (Left) comes in Dk Moss, Dk Cement, and Navy (pictured above). This jacket features a classic fit and the quilted, water-resistant nylon/cotton shell fabric will keep you comfortable and dry. It has multi-purpose pockets throughout and the shell + lining are quilt-stitched and sewn as one piece for the ultimate construction.
Lastly, we see the Ball and Buck Active Anorak in Charcoal which is a personal favorite of mine. I’ve loved the all-American made brand Ball and Buck for years and this Active Anorak is proof of their superior craftsmanship. This jacket is lightweight, packable, features Vapor Dry fabric, Water Repellent 3.4oz Nylon Taslan. It is loaded with all the pockets you’d ever need but they’re tucked away in ways that don’t overshadow the jacket itself.
