It’s always important to have a lightweight rainjacket in your closet just in case of a miserable turn in the weather. I prefer a rainjacket that’s packable and easy to transport so I can toss it in my backpack without it taking up any unnecessary space. But I know some guys prefer something with a little more weight, so I figured I’d throw together a few great options today.
First up is the PackMack #100 FZ Jacket. This rainjacket comes in Omaha Orange, Midnight Oil, and Forrest Green. This has a waterproof rating of 15,000 mm and weighs only 300g, the same weight as a cup of instant noodles. It is built to block the wind and rain from your body to keep the chill away and ensure you stay dry.

Here we see the Native North Hooded Windbreaker Jacket which is marked down $62 right now on Huckberry. This jacket comes in Olive or Brown. It has two chest pockets, two hand pockets, and two interior drop-in pockets. The wind and water-resistant inner shell will keep you dry and clean.

The third jacket today is the Flint and Tinder Ridge Shell made with a durable Japanese nylon fabric that’s both water and tear-resistant so it won’t break down over time. The adjustable hood has a natural drawcord with leather cord stoppers, a traditional look. It also has adjustable cuffs and is made right here in the USA.
