10 Essential Everyday Carry Accessories For Crushing Your Next Cookout
This excellent collection of essential cookout accessories and everyday carry gear is here to help you navigate the backyard BBQ scene this Summer. You can pick and choose any of your preferred items below by following any of the links throughout this article.
First up is the limited-edition Knob Creek 15-Year-Old Bourbon, most mature statement released by Knob Creek to-date. This 15-year-old pre-prohibition style bourbon is full-bodied and is best sipped straight or with an ice cube. The Knob Creek 15-Year-Old Bourbon checks in at 100-proof and as you can see above it has a rich gold and bronze color. The aroma is a ‘strong caramelized oak’ with hints of vanilla, ripe fruit, and baking spices. What I found most pleasing about this 15-year-old Knob Creek is how smooth it goes down and how I could feel the warmth start on my tounge and move deep down into my belly. It’s exquisite.
Second today is the Quoddy Blucher Mocs in Toast Leather which are made in Lewiston, Maine. The soft, anti-slip rubber solid gives you all-day comfort and you can rock these with shorts, jeans, or chinos all Summer and Fall.
For this ‘Naturdays’ shirt, Tropical Bros teamed up with Natural Light for a limited-edition release. This shirt has a moisture-wicking outer shell, wooden buttons, a front pocket, and it’s made with a custom ‘super stretch’ Hawaiian fabric. This is a perfect party shirt all year long, ideal for everything from tailgating to hitting up the outdoor tiki bar to cruising around on the boat or just relaxing on the couch.
You can pair that shirt with the Relwen Flyweight Flex Short, a personal favorite of mine. These Navy shorts are also sold in Olive and Steel. They are garment-dyed for added softness, have a superlight construction which means you can wear them year-round in comfort, and they have built-in stretch + a gusseted crotch for a full range of movement.
The Whiskey Peaks Denali Rocks Glasses (Set of 2) bourbon glasses are made from 100% lead-free handblown glass and they pay tribute to Denali’s iconic peak. The bottom of the glass is etched with the mountain peak so the elixir sits on the glass as if you are drinking from a piece of art.
This Good Cigar Co. 2 Pack of Cigars comes with a ‘medium’ but flavorful set of stogies along with matches and a cigar cutter. I’ve ordered this and loved it. Chilling on the porch right now and burning one down is a welcome distraction.
The Benchmade Griptillian Drop Point Knife knife is a steal at $125 because this knife could easily retail for 2x that price. The blade is made from CPM-S30V stainless steel and it has a custom-made Griptillian® nylon handle for easy use and extreme grip.
The YETI Rambler 26oz Bottle Chug Top is the exact bottle I drink from every single day to stay hydrated. For whatever reason, I find I drink more water out of this bottle than any other one that I’ve ever owned. Go on and treat yourself to a new water bottle and thank me later!
We round it out today with the Meater+ Wireless Meat Thermometer which is a grilling tool I’ve used since the day it was released, and one I’ve featured here on BroBible in the past because I stand by how incredible the Meater+ is. Seriously, I rarely run my smoker without using the Meater+ because it helps me achieve a perfect temperature every time. the built-in Bluetooth repeater in the charger extends the range of the Meater+ to a whopping 165-feet. There are no wires whatsoever and you an monitor everything on the Meater smartphone app to make sure you never overcook your meat. If you treat yourself to something new today is should be the Meater+ Wireless Meat Thermometer.
Last up is this set of two Truff Black Truffle Infused Hot Sauces. I’ve been in love with Truff hot sauces for years, well before Oprah listed them on her ‘favorite things’ holiday gift guide and the company absolutely blew up. These are phenomenal for adding flavor to chicken, rice, eggs, and pork chops. My favorite part about these hot sauces isn’t just the truffle flavor it’s how much heat the hot sauce actually packs. They’re LEGIT when it comes to spice. Check ’em out!
