These Glorious Retro New Balance Sneakers Look Like They Were Designed For Gordon Bombay And The Ducks
When it comes to retro-inspired sneaker designs I look no further than New Balance. They might have some dad shoes in their arsenal but that’s not at all what I’m talking about here, I’m referring to their ‘heritage’ designs like this one below in a colorway reminiscent of Gordon Bombay’s Mighty Ducks. These shoes would strike fear into the hearts of The Hawks and Adam Banks’ old crew.
I’m talking about the New Balance All Coasts AM574 ($85) which beyond looking fresh AF they also fit a need that a lot of guys have: light/white shoes that don’t get scuffed up quickly. One of my all-time favorite pairs of sneakers was a New Balance x Ball and Buck collaboration and I still rock those shoes all the time even after like five or six years. They’re the best. New Balance sneakers just hold up better than most.
They feature a combination of suede and mesh on the upper and advanced REVlite cushioning in the midsole so you can wear these shoes every single day for months on end and stay comfortable. I know this because I’ve been rocking New Balance for years and they remain comfortable year after year, model after model, and they’ve only improved over time with technology innovations. Let’s check out the New Balance All Coasts AM574 ($85):
Additional features of the New Balance All Coasts AM574 ($85) include:
