I’ve been wearing Ten Thousand workout shorts for over a year now and cannot recommend them enough. The idea was simple, a line of high-performance workout apparel that was designed by athletes for athletes. And not just professional athletes, if you’re in the gym burning calories and catching gains then I’m talking about you too.
So they set out to design training apparel for athletes and the result was intelligently designed pieces that actually work with your body in the ways they should. The Ten Thousand Durable Tee ($34) is ‘a premium poly-cotton blend that dries quickly, has a smooth, no bulk fit, and only gets better with each hardcore training session.’ It is treated with a permanent silver ion anti-odor protection so it always stays fresh no matter how much you sweat. As someone who loses pounds of water weight every time he does cardio regardless of how much water he’s drinking this is a crucial feature for me. They have anti-chafe flatlock seams so you don’t suffer abrasion and the fabric’s passed testing for over 20,000 anti-abrasion rubs and 100 pounds of pressure per square inch so it’s not just smoke and mirrors, they really pushed this shirt to the limits.
The other piece is the Ten Thousand Interval Short 7″ Unlined ($58). These lightweight shorts offer a complete range of mobility so they work for lifting, circuit training, running, and more. The four-way stretch fabric never clings to your body and the waistband is a ‘no pinch, no bunch waistband’ with a hidden drawcord. They have normal pockets on the sides for your keys and wallet and laser-cut ventilation along the outseam to keep you cool while you move. There are reflective details that are clutch if you’re running or workout out at night and want to ensure you’re seen by cars.
