Want To See The Worst Kickstarter Product Ever? This Is It
There is a lot of garbage on Kickstarter but usually when a product sucks it doesn’t raise very much money and disappears never to be heard from again.
Then there is the Logbar Ring.
The Logbar Ring, which raised an astounding $880,998 on Kickstarter in April of this year, was supposed to be a smart ring that could control everything from the lighting in your home to the volume on your musical device. Sounds cool, right?
Here’s the video that promises, a “wearable Input Device that lets you control anything. Gesture control, text transmission, payment, and more!”
Two problems though: One, you have to have an app open to even use it which kind of defeats the purpose of the ring, and two, it doesn’t work, as you can see in the video below.
But hey, if you have an extra $269 burning a hole in your pocket you can own a piece of history. As for those who donated money to the product’s Kickstarter? Sucks to be you.
