So This is What the Brooklyn Nets Cheerleading Uniforms Look Like
The “hard” theme permeates the collection of seven costumes, which features latex, zippers, black and white jailhouse stripes, sequin leggings and “leatherette” halters and shorts. One of the more eye-catching pieces is a pair of knee-length “leatherette” boots with lace-up ties adorning the front.
Designer David Dalrymple elucidates how the costumes reflect a street sensibility, an intrinsic part of the new Brooklyn Nets campaign which gets its cue from co-owner, Jay-Z: “For these costumes, we needed things that these women can dance and move in, but we wanted to bring in street elements. We needed to find that bridge of street fashion that can actually work on the court.”
So, Bros, buy or sell this get-up?
