What happens when you have amazing chalk art skills, a love of McDonald’s Monopoly, and a sidewalk made for recreating a Monopoly board? This amazing bit of street art from the Chalk Twins.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of McDonald’s Monopoly game (file that one under facts that will make you feel old, fat, and regretful that you never found the Park Place piece), chalk artists the Chalk Twins turned a Tampa sidewalk into a recreation of the Monopoly board.
A vivid recreation of the decidedly ineffective Monopoly judicial system
What exactly is a Community Chest? The world may never know
Mitt Romney has a diamond ring exactly like that. Same size and everything. $100 tax too
It wouldn’t be Monopoly without an oversized boot randomly wandering the streets
Trip Advisor lied. These hotels are neither roomy nor well-appointed
…And oversized dice you’d normally see in a tricked out low rider
No one dressed up in a top hat and monocle for the unveiling, sadly
There are a ton more photos on the Chalk Twins’ Facebook page. Is there a thimble? You’ll have to find out for yourself.
