Phusion Projects is best known for creating Satan’s favorite potent potable, Four Loko. Their newest developement is a malt beverage named Moskato Life that is meant to taste like moscato wine.
Moskato Life is a combination of light carbonation and sweetness that delivers on consumer’s desire for varied drink choices. Packaged in a 750 ml bottle at 6 percent alcohol by volume (ABV), Moskato Life is available in two flavors – Moscato and Rose. The product is available now in select markets with national availability by the summer’s end.
In developing Moskato Life, Phusion studied the gain in popularity of moscato wine, best known for its light-bodied, sweet taste and recent recognition in the hip-hop and urban community. Traditionally an after-dinner wine, moscato has taken up new residency as a more mainstream beverage among the under 40 crowd.
I’ll be honest with you, I hate moscato wine. It’s ridiculously sweet and often times too thick (that’s never what she said). Time after time servers have suggested that even if I don’t typically like it, I’ll probably enjoy this particular one. Sorry chief, you’re not getting any more money from me for something I know I don’t like. That said, I’ll be giving Moskato Life a shot. It’s not actually wine, so I’m sayin’ there’s a chance. I mean if the hip-hop crowd likes it, how could it possibly be bad?
