Officers in Australia pulled over the drunk man’s car at 3:00 a.m. only to find the inebriated fellow and his pint-sized companion.
The unidentified 41-year-old was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and with being an adult in charge while under the influence of alcohol.
Reports say that the father’s breathalyzer test clocked in at three times the legal limit, though police would not confirm that number.
Royal Automobile Club of Australia safety spokesperson Joel Tucker told Australia’s AAP, “Children at that age don’t have the mental or physical capabilities to drive a car safely.”
