I’m of the firm belief that every man should have a multitool of some form on his person. Actually, I believe a real man is festooned with them at all times, which is why I am very lonely. But I get that not everybody wants to keep a toolkit designed for a lumberjack on their person.
So Restoration Hardware took a break from the overpriced furniture market and put out something actually useful.
It’s a small tool, less than four inches long and two inches wide, but it packs a lot of tools into that small space. You get a corkscrew, saw, Philips and flathead screwdrivers, a punch/awl combo, a gimlet, a bottle opener, a small hammer, and a file. It also comes in a leather carrying case, so it won’t look out of place in your desk or in your work briefcase.
It’s slightly pricier than some other multitools at $45, but, hey, that extra touch of class costs. And if your girlfriend drags you into Restoration Hardware, making her look at this thing is a great way to get her to drag you right out again.
