It was one man’s mission to illustrate an image, one a day, based on every NES game ever made. Unfortunately, he fell a bit short, but the results are impressive nonetheless.
That man is Aussie artist Campbell Whyte, whose original plan was to create 789 illustrations, again one a day, each about every single Nintendo Entertainment System game released in Australia (by the way, in the US, we got 785, in case you were wondering).
But after about a year, Whyte got a book deal, so he had to scrap his project. The above represents everything he was able to crank out, which is 375. Oh, and if you want to purchase one of the drawings, it might be available via his Etsy shop.
